His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a message of congratulations to Dr Mohamed Mursi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, on the occasion of his appointment as the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

In the message, His Majesty wished Dr Mursi much success in his new post and looked forward to opportunities to work with him to strengthen the close friendship and cooperation shared between the two countries and people.
