His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday afternoon consented to visit the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh to pay tribute to the late King Norodom Sihanouk, King Father of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

The monarch conveyed his deepest condolences to His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, the King of Cambodia and Her Majesty Queen Norodom Monineath, the King Mother.

His Majesty also signed the condolence book.

Accompanying His Majesty to the ceremony were Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ibrahim, Minister of Finance II at the Prime Minister's Office; Pehin Datu Singamanteri Colonel (Rtd) Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Awang Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar, Minister of Energy at the Prime Minister's Office; and Shaikh Haji Fadilah bin Shaikh Haji Ahmad, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to the Kingdom of Cambodia. - Borneo Bulletin (19 November 2012)
