His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a message of congratulations to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al-Said, Sultan of the Sultanate of Oman, as well as the Government and people of Oman on the occasion of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al-Said's 72nd birthday and the National Day of Oman.

In the message, His Majesty greatly appreciated the contribution and commitment of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al-Said in enhancing the warm and friendly relations and close cooperation between the two countries and looked forward to continuing to work together to strengthen these much-valued ties.

In ending the message, His Majesty prayed that Allah the Almighty bless His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al-Said and the royal family with continued good health and happiness and the people of Oman with prosperity and progress. - Borneo Bulletin (18 November 2012)
