His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam granted an audience yesterday to Dato' Raja Nong Chik bin Dato' Raja Zainal Abidin, Minister of Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing Malaysia.

Dato' Raja Nong Chik bin Dato' Raja Zainal Abidin is currently in Brunei Darussalam for a two-day working visit.

Present during the audience were Dato'Abdullah Sani bin Omar, the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam and Dato' Adnan bin Haji Md Ikhsan, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Federal and City Welfare Malaysia.

Also present was Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, Minister of Education, as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Brunei Investment Agency.

His Majesty also granted an audience to Mr Edward Fast, Minister of International Trade and Minister for Asia-Pacific Gateway of Canada. Mr Edward Fast was in Brunei for a one-day official visit.

Present during the audience were Mr Mackenzic Clugston, Acting High Commissioner of Canada to Brunei Darussalam; Ms Lise-Ann Jackson, Senior Advisor-Policy and Stakeholder Relations Office of the Minister of International Trade; Mr Greg Glokas, Director-General South, Southeast Asia & Oceania Bureau Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Canada; and Mr Marc Parent, CEO/President of CAR Inc of Canada.
