His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha arrived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia yesterday afternoon to begin a Special Head of State Visit to Malaysia.
According to a press release from the Prime Minister's Office, accompanying Their Majesties were His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik, His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Wakeel, Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah, and Her Royal Highness Princess Ameerah Wardatul Bolkiah.
Also accompanying Their Majesties were Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna and YAM Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz bin Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar.
Present at the Royal Malaysian Air Force Airbase, Subang to greet His Majesty and Her Majesty were General Tan Sri Datuk Seri Zulkifeli bin Mohd Zin, Chief of Armed Forces of Malaysia, as well as other senior officials from the Government of Malaysia.
Also present at the airbase was Dato Paduka Awg Hj Ishaaq bin Hj Abdullah, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Malaysia.
Upon arrival, Their Majesties walked past a static guard mounted by the Malaysian Armed Forces before boarding the motorcade towards the hotel where Their Majesties will reside for the duration of the visit.
During the visit, Their Majesties will be attending a high-tea ceremony with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia and Permaisuri Agong, and a dinner hosted by the Prime Minister of Malaysia and Datin Paduka Seri. His Majesty will also be visiting the 13th Defence Services Asia Exhibition.
Earlier in the day, present at His Majesty the Sultan's Flight Hangar in Rimba to bid farewell to Their Majesties were His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office; Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah; His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade; and Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Zariah.
Also present at the hangar were Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Cheterias, Cabinet Ministers, members of various councils, deputy ministers, the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces and the Commissioner of Police, as well as the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam, Dato' Abdullah Sani bin Omar.
