His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday consented to send a message of congratulations to His Majesty Al-Sultan Almu' Tasimu Billahi Muhibbuddin Tuanku Alhaj Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah, the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong on the occasion of His Majesty's installation as the 14th Yang Di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia.

According to a press release from the Office of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, His Majesty was very happy to extend his heartiest congratulations on the occasion of the installation of His Majesty Yang Di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia.

In the message, His Majesty also expressed hope that the cooperation and warm as well as close ties that have existed so far between Brunei Darussal am and Malaysia would be further strengthened and developed in time to come.

In ending the message, His Majesty and Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha prayed to Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala that His Majesty Yang Di-Pertuan Agong and Her Majesty the Raja Permaisuri Agong as well as the royal family would always be in the best of health and live long under the protection and preservation of Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala. - Borneo Bulletin (12 April 2012)
