His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a congratulatory message to President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Ttuong Tan Sang, on the occasion of his appointment as President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

In the message, His Majesty expressed President Truong Tan Sang much success in his new post and looked forward to working with him in strengthening the much-valued relations between both countries and as partners in the region.
