His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a congratulatory message to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al-Said, Sultan of the Sultanate of Oman on the occasion of His Majesty's 71st birthday and to the government and people of the Sultanate of Oman on the auspicious occasion of the National Day of the Sultanate of Oman.
In the message, His Majesty was pleased to note the close and brotherly relations enjoyed by both countries and looked forward to continuing to work with His Majesty Sultan Qaboos in strengthening the much-valued friendship and cooperation.
In ending the message, His Majesty prayed that Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala would bless His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al-Said and the royal family with continued good health and happiness as well as continious progress and prosperity for the people of the Sultanate of Oman.
Meanwhile, His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade sent a congratulatory message to Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Oman's Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, on the occasion of the 41st National Day of Oman.
HRH said he was pleased to send his respect to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos on His Majesty's 71st birthday, together with HRH's warmest congratulations to the minister, the government and people of the Sultanate of Oman on their 41st National Day.
"As always, it has been a great pleasure working with you and I would like to thank you once again for the very kind hospitality given to our people in Muscat at this year's joint commission. I look forward to continuing to strengthen our much-valued cooperation and wish you all a very happy celebration," HRH said.
