Royal congratulations for Sultan of Oman

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send congratulatory messages to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al-Said of the Sultanate of Oman on the occasion of His Majesty's 70th birthday and to the government and people of the Sultanate of Oman on the auspicious occasion of the National Day of the Sultanate of Oman.

In his message, His Majesty greatly appreciated the existing brotherly relations between the two countries and His Majesty looked forward to continuing working together with His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al-Said to strengthen the much-valued friendship, goodwill and cooperation that the two countries have long enjoyed.

His Majesty prayed that Allah the Almighty would bless His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al-Said with continued good health and happiness, as well as continuous progress and prosperity for the people of the Sultanate of Oman.

Meanwhile, His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, sent a congratulatory message to Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, Sultanate of Oman.

His Royal Highness said, "It gives me great pleasure to send my warmest respects to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos on His Majesty's 70th birthday together with my congratulations to you and to the government and people of the Sultanate of Oman as you celebrate your National Day.

"I much appreciate our countries' brotherly relations and look forward to working closely with you to continue strengthening our countries' much-valued friendship and cooperation.
