His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday consented to bestow the title of Darjah Pahlawan Negara Brunei Yang Amat Perkasa Darjah Pertama (First Class P.S.P.N.B) on Chief of Police, Republic of Indonesia, Police General Drs Soetanto.

The event took place at the Istana Nurul Iman.

His Majesty also received Drs Soetanto in audience. Also present were Pehin Datu Kerma Setia Dato Paduka Seri Awang Zainuddin bin Jalani, Commissioner of Police, and Ambassador of Indonesia to Brunei, Herinjanto Soeprappo.

Also present at the audience ceremony was Datin Paduka Dayang Hajah Salbiah binti Haji Sulaiman, Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office. - Borneo Bulletin (8th April 2008)
