His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam consented to send congratulatory messages to His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait, and His Highness Sheikh Nasser Mohammed Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister of Kuwait, on the occasion of the National Day of Kuwait.
His Majesty expressed his satisfaction with the warm and friendly relations and deep understanding between Brunei and Kuwait and hoped that this would be maintained for the good of the two countries and peoples.
His Majesty also prays that the Kuwait Emir and Prime Minister would always remain in good health and for the people of Kuwait to always enjoy continued progress and prosperity.
Meanwhile, His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, also sent a congratulatory message to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait, Sheikh Dr Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah.
HRH sent his warmest congratulations to the Deputy Prime Minister as well as the government and people of Kuwait on the occasion of the National Day of Kuwait.
HRH expressed his appreciation over the excellent relations between the two countries and looks forward to future opportunities to strengthen friendship and cooperation.
