His Majesty grants audience to new envoys

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday afternoon consented to receive credentials from four newly-appointed foreign envoys to Brunei Darussalam - Ambassador Phithak Phrombubpha of the Kingdom of Thailand, Ambassador Faysal Gouia of the Republic of Tunisia, Ambassador Jong Chun Kun of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and Ambassador Richard A O'Brien of Ireland - at the Istana Nurul Iman.

Ambassador Phithak Phrombubpha was previously the Ambassador of Thailand to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Ambassador Faysal Gouia and Ambassador Jong Chun Kun are currently based in Jakarta, Indonesia while Ambassador Richard A O'Brien of Ireland is currently based in Singapore.

After receiving their credentials, His Majesty then received the four foreign envoys in separate audiences at the Istana Nurul Iman.

Meanwhile, His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade also received the four newly appointed foreign envoys to Brunei at the Balai Penghadapan, Bukit Kayangan.
