Crown Prince meets with newly appointed envoys

His Royal Highness Prince Hj Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, yesterday consented to receive in audience three of the Sultanate's newly appointed envoys to friendly nations.

The newly appointed envoys are High Commissioner to New Zealand Datin Tan Bee Yong, High Commissioner to the Republic of India Hj Sidek bin Hj Ali, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the People's Democratic Republic of Lao Johan Thani bin Hj Abdullah.

The envoys received their letter of credentials from His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on April 2.

Also present at the audience ceremony was Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office Pengiran Dato Paduka Hj Abu Bakar bin Pengiran Seri Indera Pengiran Hj Ismail.
