4 cadet officers of RBAF have been promoted with commands of His Majesty

By command of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, four cadet officers of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces have been promoted. His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah and Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Zariah consented to attend the promotion ceremony which included His Royal Highness’ sons, Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Muda Abdul Fattaah and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Muda Abdul Mu’min. The promotion ceremony took place at the Officers’ Mess in Berakas Garisson, Friday.
Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Muda Abdul Fattaah was promoted to a Lieutenant with effect from 13th of April this year. Yang Amat Mulia Lieutenant Pengiran Muda Abdul Fattaah is Platoon Commander of the Second Battalion of the Royal Brunei Land Force. Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Muda Abdul Mu’min has been promoted to Second Lieutenant also as from 13th April 2007. Yang Amat Mulia Second Lieutenant Pengiran Muda Abdul Mu’min is Platoon Commander of the First Battalion of the Royal Brunei Land Force. Both had attended a cadet officers’ course at the Royal Military Academy of Sandhurst from 8th January 2006 until 13th April 2007.
The rank insignias were presented by the Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force, Colonel Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Rosli bin Pengiran Haji Chuchu. At the function, two other cadet officers also received their promotion insignias. Cadet Officer Haji Mohamad Aisamuddin bin Ali was promoted to Lieutenant and Cadet Officer Mohamad Nur Hidayat Dhiyurrahman bin Jamil, to Second Lieutenant. Also present were senior officers and officers of the Royal Brunei Land Force.
