Members of the Federation of Brunei Malay Entrepreneurs recently organised a religious gathering in Kg Serusop to show members' appreciation towards the rule of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam who celebrated the 40th anniversary of accession to the throne on Oct 5.
The thanksgiving prayer or doa kesyukuran was read by Hj Junaidi Hj Abdullah, a former Imam of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
The former Imam also led the members in a tahlil ceremony before they broke their fast together.
Earlier on, the federation organised the first executive committee meeting for office bearers of 2007 to 2012 in which they approved the nomination of various posts.
