His Majesty continues state visit to Cambodia by visiting Siem Reap

His Majesty wrapped up the state visit to Phnom Penh shortly before noon Friday local time. His Majesty continued the state visit to Siem Reap, another popular province in Cambodia. Before His Majesty left the hotel, doa selamat was read by the State Mufti, Pehin Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Abdul Aziz. Though His Majesty was in Phnom Penh for a short period, the visit could become a starting point towards forming closer relations between the two countries.

Present at the Phnom Penh International Airport to bid farewell to His Majesty was Cambodian state dignitaries. They were led by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Royal Palace, His Excellency Samdech Chaufea Kong Som Ol, as Minister-in- Attendance. (7th April 2007)
