His Majesty attends banquet hosted by Governor of Siem Reap Province Photo: Info Dept                 Last night, His Majesty was celebrated in a banquet hosted by the Governor of Siem Reap Province. It was held at a renowned restaurant in Siem Reap. His Majesty was greeted on arrival by the Governor, His Excellency Sou Phirin. The function was attended by state dignitaries of Siem Reap and members of His Majesty’s delegation. In his welcoming address, His Excellency expressed his gratitude to His Majesty for consenting to visit Siem Reap. Siem Reap is one of the 20 provinces under the Cambodian rule and is a popular tourist destination. Its main attraction is the Angkor Wat, one of the world’s most remarkable architectural achievements. (7th April 2007)
