His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday afternoon consented to receive in audience Mr. Sidi Moro Sanneh, Secretary of State (Minister), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Gambia.
Mr. Sidi Moro Sanneh is the Special Envoy for Dr Alhaji Yahya A J J Jammeh, President of the Republic of Gambia.
Present during the audience were Pehin Dato Hj Yahya, Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office, and Pehin Dato Lim Jock Seng, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The audience took place at Istana Nurul Iman.
Meanwhile, at the Balai Penghadapan, Bukit Kayangan, His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, hosted a luncheon for Mr. Sidi Moro Sanneh. Also attending the luncheon was Her Royal Highness Princess Hjh Masna, Ambassador At Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Prior to the luncheon, HRH and the Secretary of State discussed bilateral matters and exchanged views on a number of regional and international affairs.
