His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam consented to receive in audience Mr George Yeo Yong Boon, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore, at the Istana Nurul Iman yesterday afternoon.
Mr Yeo was accompanied by Mr Joseph K H Koh, High Commissioner of Republic of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam, and Mr Peter Tan, Director (Southeast Asia), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore.
Also present during the audience were Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II, Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Abu Bakar bin Pengiran Seri Indera Pengiran Haji Ismail, Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office, and Dato Paduka Haji Shofry bin Haji Abdul Ghafor, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
Prior to the audience, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, The Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, yesterday consented to receive in audience Mr Yeo, who was also accompanied by Mr. Joseph Koh and Mr Peter Tan. Also present at this audience were Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Abu Bakar and Dato Paduka Awang Haji Shofry.
In a separate audience, Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hjh Saleha consented to receive Mrs Jennifer Yeo, the wife of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore, at the Istana Nurul Iman yesterday afternoon.
Mr Yeo is on a three-day official visit to Brunei Darussalam and will be leaving today.
