Royal messages for Netherlands and Sweden

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send congratulatory messages to the kingdoms of the Netherlands and Sweden.

His Majesty consented to send congratulatory messages to Her Majesty Queen Koningin Beatrix Wilhelmina Armgard of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende of the Kingdom of the Netherlands on the occasion of the Queen's Day.

His Majesty expressed his gratification at the warm and friendly relations and deep understanding between Brunei Darussalam and the Kingdom of the Netherlands. His Majesty hoped that this would be maintained and enhanced in the future for the good of the two nations.

His Majesty also hoped that the Queen and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands would remain in good health and happiness, and for the people of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to enjoy continued progress and prosperity.

Meanwhile, His Majesty consented to send congratulatory messages to His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of the Kingdom of Sweden and Swedish Prime Minister Goran Persson on the birthday of His Majesty the King.

His Majesty expressed satisfaction with the warm and friendly relations and deep understanding between Brunei Darussalam and the Kingdom of Sweden. His Majesty hoped that this would be further strengthened in the future for the good of the two countries and peoples.

His Majesty hoped that the King and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Sweden would remain in good health and happiness and for the people of the Kingdom of Sweden to enjoy continued progress and prosperity.

Meanwhile, HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, sent a congratulatory message to Maxime Verhagen, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kingdom of the Netherlands.

His Royal Highness said, "It gives me great pleasure to present my warmest respects to Her Majesty Queen Beatrix and the royal family together with my congratulations to you and the government and people of the Kingdom of the Netherlands on the Queen's Day.

"I am very pleased with the warm relations which exist between our two countries and look forward to working with you to continue strengthening our peoples' friendship and cooperation."

His Royal Highness also sent a congratulatory message to Carl Bildt, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden.

His Royal Highness said, "I have much pleasure in presenting my warmest respects to His Majesty and the royal family, together with my congratulations to you and the government and people of Sweden on the birthday of His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf.
