His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday sent congratulatory messages to United Arab Emirates (UAE) President and ruler of Abu Dhabi His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, and Vice President/Prime Minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al-Maktoum on the occasion of the national day of the UAE.
In his message, His Majesty greatly valued the warm and friendly relations and deep understanding between Brunei and UAE and prays that this would be maintained and enhanced in the future for the good of the two countries and people.
The monarch also prays that His Highness would always remain in good health and happiness and for the people of the UAE to enjoy continued progress and prosperity.
At the same time, in a congratulatory message to His Highness Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, His Majesty congratulated His Highness and the government and people of UAE on the occasion of the national day of the UAE.
His Majesty prays for the continued good health and happiness of His Highness Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al-Maktoum.
Meanwhile, His Majesty also sent a congratulatory message to Lao People's Democractic Republic (PDR) President Choummaly Sayasone, and Lao PDR Prime Minister Bouasone Bouphavanh on the occasion of the national day of Lao PDR.
In his message, the monarch expressed his satis-faction with the steady progress of relations between Brunei and Lao PDR at the bilateral level and in Asean, and other regional and international levels.
His Majesty hopes this would be maintained and enhanced in the future for the good of the two countries and their people.
The monarch also hopes that Choummaly Sayasone would remain in good health and for the people of Laos to enjoy continued progress and prosperity.
At the same time, in a similar congratulatory message to Bouasone Bouphavanh, the monarch congratulated the prime minister, the government and the people of Laos on the occasion of the national day.
His Majesty wishes for Bousanoe Bouphavanh to enjoy continued good health and happiness.
Meanwhile, His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, also sent a congratulatory message to His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of UAE.
HRH sent his deep respect to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, the ruler of Abu Dhabi and the President of the UAE, and to His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, the government and people of UAE on the occasion of their national day.
HRH appreciates the friendship and goodwill both countries have long shared and also looks forward to the pleasure of continuing to work together to enhance the much-valued relations.
HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah also sent similar congratulatory message to Thongloun Sisoulith, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lao PDR, on the occasion of the national day of Lao PDR.
HRH sent his warmest congratulations to His Excellency, the government and people of the Lao PDR on their 32nd National Day.
HRH expressed his pleasure in welcoming His Excellency to Brunei earlier this year and looks forward to continuing to work together to strengthen the much-valued bilateral relations between the two countries and close cooperation as regional partners.
