Now in its fourth year, the Majlis Ilmu (Convention for Knowledge), one of the events to commemorate His Majesty Sultan's 61st birthday celebration, starts today at the International Convention Centre.
The 27-day convention, which runs until Aug 19, is a platform for intellectuals, policy-makers, community leaders, producers, sellers, buyers, teachers, students and members of the public pursuing interests in the fields of knowledge, experience, skill and merchandise.
Its four main events are a Seminar on Aqidah Driven Community, the Majlis Ilmu Exhibition 2007, Majlis Ilmu in districts and concurrent events (writing competition, talks and quizzes).
