His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, yesterday consented to grant an audience to Datuk Hj Mohd Shafie bin Hj Apdal, Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs of Malaysia, at the Balai Penghadapan, Bukit Kayangan.
HRH and Datuk Shafie discussed the current economic and trade cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia. Datuk Shafie is in the country on a three-day working visit. HRH later received a courtesy call from Dr Donatus Koeck, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Austria to Brunei Darussalam.
Dr Koeck, who is based in Kula Lumpur, presented his credentials to His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam during his first visit to Brunei Darussalam in May 2006.
