Princess Masna graces BCFA Gala Dinner

Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, attended a Gala Dinner last night hosted by the Brunei China Friendship Association at the International Convention Centre.

The function, which was organised especially for the Second Conference on Asean-China People-to-People Friendship Organisations, saw in attendance representatives of the related agencies and participants, as well as various influential members of both the local Chinese and Malay business communities.

The evening saw an array of traditional Chinese cuisine served, while the entertainment was a showcase of the Sultanate's multiculturalism with traditional and modern performances from Chung Hwa Middle School and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

Also present were Madame Gu Xiulan, Vice Chairperson of the Standing Committee of National People's Congress, the People's Republic of China, President of the All-China Women's Federation and President of the China-Asean Association; the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Dewa Major General (R) Dato Seri Pahlawan Hj Mohammad Hj Daud; as well as Dr Hj Kamaruddin Dato Talib, the President of BFCA. - Borneo Bulletin (21st June 2007)
