A series of religious performances were held at the Pasar Ria Festival Stage in the capital yesterday evening, adding further to the festive atmosphere brought about by His Majesty's 61st Birthday celebrations.
Organised by the Islamic Da'wah Centre, Ministry of Religious Affairs together with Nur Islam Network, Radio Televisyen Brunei, the evening was filled with performances such as 'hadrah', 'nasyid', and poetry recitals.
Present as guest of honour was Director of Syariah Affairs at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Awg Hj Talip bin Apong and his wife.
