The "Bersama Rakyat" event with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday will always be remembered by the people of Tutong.
The Acting Tutong District Officer, Hj Jamain bin Momin, said that the event, which was held in conjunction with the monarch's 61st birthday, would also hold a special place in the people's hearts.
Under the rule of His Majesty, the people of Tutong are able to live in a place that is peaceful, safe, harmonious and prosperous, he said.
Aside from health and education, the people also enjoy other facilities such as the newly constructed Pasaraneka Complex and Tutong Tamu.
According to Hj Jamain, these two buildings have not only contributed to economic growth but also motivated people to become more active in entrepreneurship and other developments that contribute to raising the standard of living of the people in Tutong.
