His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pg Anak Hjh Saleha paid their last respects to the late Pengiran Anak Hajah Damit binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam, younger sister of Her Majesty, who passed away at the age of 51 yesterday morning.
Also present at Rumah Seri Alam were HRH Prince Hj Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince, HRH Paduka Seri Pg Anak Isteri Pg Anak Sarah, HRH Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah and other members of the royal family, RTB reported.
The late Pengiran Anak Hajah Damit was the wife of Pg Haji Mohd Ayub bin Pg Maharaja Anakanda Pg Haji Ahmad.
Meanwhile, by command of His Majesty, the national flags were flown four feet below the top of the flag staff at all government buildings and private sector premises throughout the country yesterday.
