His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday consented to receive in audience the Prime Minister of Lao People's Democratic Republic, Mr Bouasone Bouphavanh, and his delegates.
Present at the audience at the Istana Nurul Iman were His Royal Highness Prince Hj Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
Also in attendance were His Royal Highness Prince Hj Sufri Bolkiah, His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik and Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna.
The Lao Prime Minister is in the country on a three-day official visit which ends today.
Throughout his stay here, the Lao Prime Minister is being accompanied by the Minister of Health, Pehin Orang Kaya Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Hj Awg Suyoi bin Hj Osman, in his capacity as the Minister in Attendance.
Last night, the Lao Prime Minister and delegation attended an official banquet at the Istana Nurul Iman.
