His Royal Highness Prince General Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, The Crown Prince, Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and General of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), consented to began his series of working visits to the Ministry of Defence (MinDef) this year at the Directorate of Logistics. The visit was held at Bolkiah Garrison yesterday morning.
On arrival, HRH Prince General Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah was greeted by the Deputy Minister of Defence Pehin Datu Singamanteri Colonel (Rtd) Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar, and Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Eusoff Agaki bin Haji Ismail.
Also greeting HRH Prince General Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah upon his arrival at the Ministry of Defence were Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Md Yussof, Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office, Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Ismail Pengiran Haji Mohamed, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Defence, Dato Paduka Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat, Deputy Permanent Secretaries at the Ministry of Defence and Senior Officers of Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
His Royal Highness' visit programme commenced with a presentation on the structure and organisation of the Directorate delivered by the Director of the Directorate of Logistics, Ministry of Defence, Colonel (U) Pengiran Haji Kamal Bashah bin Pengiran Haji Ahmad.
His Royal Highness Prince General Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah then consented to visit firstly the General Office & Unit Equipment Table, followed by the Transport Movement & Housing Department.
His Royal Highness Prince General Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah then visited the Director's office and finally the Maintenance Department, and interacted with officers and personnel of each department.
His Royal Highness Prince General Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah concluded the visit by consenting to sign the royal parchment, followed by a group photo session with officers and personnel of the directorate.
