Royal congratulatory messages for Oman

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a congratulatory message to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al-Said, Sultan of Oman, on the occasion of the National Day of the Sultanate of Oman.

In the message, His Majesty expressed his satisfaction with the good relations between the two countries that had developed from strength to strength.

His Majesty expressed confidence that this would be maintained and enhanced in the future for the good of the two countries and people.

His Majesty also prayed to Allah that His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al-Said would always remain in good health and happiness and for the people of the Sultanate of Oman to always enjoy continued progress and prosperity.

His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, meanwhile, sent a message of congratulations to the Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs of Sultanate of Oman, Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, on the occasion of the 37th National Day of the Sultanate of Oman and His Majesty Sultan Qaboos's 67th birthday celebration.

In his message, His Royal Highness expressed his deepest respects to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos and the royal family, together with his congratulations and best wishes to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos and to the government and people of Oman on their National Day and His Majesty's 67th birthday.

His Royal Highness also appreciates the close and warm relationship which exists between the two countries and looks forward to continuing to strengthen these valuable ties both internationally and through the joint commission. - Borneo Bulletin (18th Nov 2007)
