Sultan hosts banquet for uniformed personnel

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam last night hosted a royal banquet in conjunction with the monarch's 61st birthday at the Istana Nurul Iman, which was attended by all uniformed personnel.

Also present were Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pg Anak Hjh Saleha, Her Royal Highness Pg Isteri Azrinaz Mazhar binti Hakim Mazhar, HRH Prince Hj Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, HRH Paduka Seri Pg Anak Isteri Pg Anak Sarah, HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, HRH Pg Anak Isteri Pg Anak Hjh Zariah, HRH Prince Hj Sufri Bolkiah, Pengiran Bini Hjh Faizah, HRH Prince 'Abdul 'Azim, HRH Prince 'Abdul Malik, HRH Prince 'Abdul Mateen and other members of the royal family.

Among the distinguished guests at the banquet were personnel of Gurkha Reserves, British Garrison Brunei, Defence Centre, Royal Customs and Excise, Prisons Department, Immigration Department, Airport Fire and Rescue, Fire and Rescue Department, Royal Brunei Navy, Royal Brunei Police Force, Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Brunei Scouts, Brunei Girl Guides and Brunei Red Crescent. - Borneo Bulletin (18th July 2007)
