His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday consented to receive in audience Commander of the Armed Forces of Singapore, Lt Gen Dato Paduka Seri Ng Yat Chung at the Istana Nurul Iman.
Accompanying the visiting Commander was Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General Dato Paduka Seri Hj Awg Halbi Hj Md Yussof and High Commissioner of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam, Mr Joseph K H Koh.
Separately, Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hjh Saleha consented to receive in audience Datin Judie Ng, wife of the visiting Singapore Armed Forces Commander. Datin Judie was accompanied by Datin Hajjah Kalshom binti Haji Suhaili, wife of Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces, and Peifen P H Chu, wife of High Commissioner of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam.
