A large crowd of people Tuesday night gathered at the Jubilee Park in the capital to watch Pelangi On Stage, a show organised by Pelangi FM 91.4, which was held in conjunction with the royal wedding celebrations.
The event featured Pelangi FM's personalities, including DJ Zura and DJ Zayn, who hosted the evening's event.
According to Ms Helen Thu, Manager of Pilihan/Pelangi, "The general public sets the bar for Pelangi FM at a very high level. We always look forward to meet them, if not to exceed the public's expectation through creative and innovative ways, such as this event."
The stage show began with an energetic dance number by 'Realz Art Dance' group.
Also making an appearance on stage was Zul F, Brunei's very own local recording artiste, who performed a number of songs in English, Malay and Tagalog.
Meanwhile, Adeb also wooed the crowd with 'Uptown Girl', which was followed by a performance by the Y-E-S band in Mandarin.
Thunderous applause and cheering were heard from the crowd when local talent, Maria, burst out with her hit numbers, including 'Aku Atau Dia'.
Also seen rocking their way on stage was 'The Claws' with two rock numbers and a performance by 'The Seeds' with their popular hit called 'Rahsia Hati'.
Furthermore, talents from Pelangi FM also dished out a colourful performance at the event, led by DJ Zaty, with a Hindi medley that won support from the crowd.
Pelangi On Stage concluded with a final performance by all participating performers with a catchy tune of 'I Will Survive'.
The event was supported by TOTAL, Sheraton Utama Hotel, TelBru and b.mobile.
