M'sian PM attends high tea reception

Malaysian Prime Minister Dato' Seri Abdullah Hj Ahmad Badawi and spouse, Datin Seri Jeanne Abdullah, as well as his delegation yesterday attended a high tea reception hosted by the Malaysian High Commission in Brunei Darussalam in Jalan Kebangsaan.

In a welcoming speech by the newly appointed Malaysian High Commissioner, Dato Ku Jaafar Ku Shaari, he highlighted on the staff strength and activities held by the High Commission.

Also present at the event were Malaysian government officials - Dato' Seri Syed Hamid Syed Albar, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Dato Mustapa Mohamed, Minister of Higher Education; Dato Seri Mohd Radzi Sheikh Ahmad, Minister of Home Affairs; Pehin Sri Tan Sri Datuk Patinggi Dr Hj Abdul Taib Mahmud, Chief Minister of Sarawak; and Datuk Musa Hj Aman, Chief Minister of Sabah - as well as Brunei's Minister of Education, Pehin Dato Awg Hj Abdul Rahman as the minister-in-attendance.
