Royal audience for German parliamentarians

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday afternoon consented to receive in audience five parliamentary members of the Federal Republic of Germany headed by Mr Klaus Lippold.

For the audience at the Istana Nurul Iman, the Members of Parliament were accompanied by Ambassador of the Republic of Germany to Brunei Darussalam, Mr Conrad Karl Cappell.

Also present during the audience were Pehin Lim Jock Seng, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II; Pehin Dato Paduka Awang Haji Judin bin Haji Asar, Secretary to the Council of Ministers / Clerk to The Legislative Council; Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Abu Bakar bin Pengiran Seri Indera Haji Ismail, Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office and Dato Paduka Haji Shofry bin Haji Abdul Ghafor, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Right after that, HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, received in audience the German delegation at the Balai Penghadapan in Bukit Kayangan.
