His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send his condolences to Ms Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, President of the Republic of the Philippines following the great loss of life and destruction caused by Typhoon Durian on December 1, 2006.
In the message, His Majesty as well as the Government and people of Brunei Darussalam expressed their heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the Government and people of the Republic of the Philippines, especially to the bereaved families of the victims of the disaster.
