His Royal Highness Prince General Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince cum Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office cum Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) General yesterday embarked on a second series of working visits to the Ministry of Defence Directorate of Intelligence at Bolkiah Garrison.
The visit was a follow up to the Crown Prince's earlier trip to the Ministry of Defence on January 25.
Greeting the Crown Prince on arrival was Deputy Minister of Defence Pehin Datu Singamanteri Colonel (Rtd) Dato Paduka Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office Dato Paduka Awang Haji Eusoff Agaki bin Haji Ismail, RBAF Commander Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Md Yussof, Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office Dato Paduka Awang Haji Sulaiman bin Haji Ismail, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Defence Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat, Deputy Permanent Secretaries at both the Prime Minister's Office and Ministry of Defence, and other senior RBAF officers.
The day commenced with a presentation on the structure and organisation of the directorate, which was delivered by Directorate of Intelligence Director Lt Colonel Ra'emi Maleek bin Haji Abd Wahab.
Later, His Royal Highness was brought on a tour of the sections and facilities of the directorate.
HRH Prince General Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah also consented to sign the royal parchment in conjunction with the working visit.
The visit demonstrates the Crown Prince's keen interest and concern in the implementation of the directorate's roles and functions as one of the vital defence agencies under the Ministry of Defence.
