The ongoing Convention of Knowledge exhibition or MajlEx 2006 at the International Convention Centre in Berakas continues to receive an encouraging response as more and more visitors are heading to ICC to gain educational knowledge from the exhibition.
Among the visitors at the showcase were head of the BIT 2006 contingent from the Philippines as well as several other contingent heads and officials.
Apart from the MajlEx exhibition, there are also other events held concurrently at the ICC, namely the 'Raja Payung Negara' exhibition at the Press Conference Hall and the Brunei-Thailand photography exhibition called 'Harmony between the Two Kingdoms'.
Also held are a mini exhibition of the publication of Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Islamic Exhibition Gallery: 'Revitalising Islamic Civilisation', as well as the 'Kedaulatan Raja-Raja Nusantara' exhibition showcasing artifacts from the 18th to the 19th century.
The artifacts on display include the handwritten al-Quran in year 1896, 'Mahkota Istiadat', 'Tapak Sirih Istiadat', 'Tongkat Khutbah', 'Kipas Istiadat', 'Keris Istiadat', 'Chop Mohor', full ceremonial war attire from the Bugis Government (Niah), a collection of 'Tongkat-Tongkat Raja' and many more.
