Royal audiences By Lyna Mohammad His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha consented to grant separate audiences yesterday afternoon. The royal audiences took place at the Istana Nurul Iman where His Majesty consented to receive in audience the Chief of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly, Bapak Agung Laksono and delegates. At a separate ceremony, Her Majesty first granted an audience to the wife of Bapak Agung Laksono, Ibu Silvia Agung Laksono and delegates. Her Majesty later granted an audience to the newly appointed Australian High Commissioner to the country, Dr Ruth Adler. - Borneo Bulletin (30th Mar 2006)
