The Walkathon Committee in conjunction with His Majesty's 60th Birthday Celebration will be organising a "Walkathon Emas 60" this Sunday, July 2, at the Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar Ali Saifuddien from 6.30am.
The walkathon, one of the events to be held to enlighten and make His Majesty's 60th birthday joyful, is open to all members of the public.
It will also be participated by officers and government staff, uniformed personnel, private agencies as well as non-government organisations and education institutions and schools.
Male participants will have to walk 3.8 kilometres while female participants will have to walk 3.3 kilometres.
Citizens and residents in the country are encouraged to participate and wear sports attire.
