His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday welcomed His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein - the King of the Hashemite of the Kingdom of Jordan - on his arrival at the Brunei International Airport in Berakas.
Also present at the airport were His Royal Highness Prince Hj Al-Muhtadee Billah the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, and HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
Later in the evening, the monarch hosted a dinner for the Jordanian King at the Li Gong Restaurant, Empire Hotel and Country Club in Jerudong.
Also gracing the dinner were HRH Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, who also greeted King Abdullah II on arrival at Li Gong Restaurant.
Present at the royal dinner were delegates accompanying the Jordanian King, cabinet ministers and senior government officers.
King Abdullah II is in the country on a three-day private visit.
