The event was held at the Hall of STPRI school yesterday.
Around 21 members received the warrant including Chief Commissioner Dyg Hajah Siti Hafsah bte Haji Abd Halim and other senior officers of the association.
Whereas to receive the tenderfoot badges were 52 leaders, 8 young leaders, 98 members of the girl guides and 151 members of the brownies.
In her speech, chairman of the ceremony YM Ustazah Hajah Fatimah binti Haji Abd Ghani said in 2005 the association registered 1,700 membership registration compared to the 1600 in 2004.
She said even though the number is not as high, it was enough for the association to receive 3 certificates of appreciation from WAGGGS for successfully gaining a 5 per cent increase in membership each year.
The certificates were received at the WAGGGS World Conference in Ireland in 1999, in Phillipines in 2002 and in Jordan in 2005.
The assessment that brought the certificates here was carried from 'Internal Study' and 'Progess Reports' by WAGGGS.
Every three years a representative from WAGGGS will come to Brunei to do a health check that is an assessment with regards to the administration, financial, membership, education programmes and relation with the society of the association.
