With the consent of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, eleven senior officers and officers of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces have been promoted. The promotion ceremony took place Friday at the Officers Mess, Bolkiah Garrison. The Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Major General Pehin Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi presented the rank insignias.
Four of the officers were promoted to Acting Lieutenant Colonel and seven other officers were promoted to Substantive Lieutenant Colonel. The promotions took effect from the first of December last year and the first of this month.
