His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha and HRH Pengiran Isteri Azrinaz Mazhar consented to grace the 'Majlis Bersanding' for YAM Pg Anak Hajah Huda Bahaaul Bulqiah binti Pg Indera Setia Diraja Sahibul Karib Pg Anak Haji Idris at Baitun Na'aim in Jerudong.
Also gracing the ceremony were HRH Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and HRH Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah, HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah and HRH Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Zariah, HRH Prince Abdul Malik, HRH Prince Abdul Mateen and other members of the royal family.
The ceremony of YAM Pg Anak Hajah Huda Bahaaul Bulqiah, daughter of His Majesty's younger sister HRH Princess Hajah Amal Umi Kalthum Al-Islam, began shortly after the arrival of Their Majesties, HRH Pengiran Isteri and other members of the royal family.
After the royal arrival, the bride was accompanied into the ceremonial hall by Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Awg Haji Salim with several Pengiran-Pengiran (female) carrying the 'Dian Majalis' leading the way. Following them were several 'Pahawai' women carrying traditional ornaments such as 'Puan', 'Tarian', 'Kabok', 'Panastan', 'Kiap', 'Chupu', 'Pasigupan', 'Kaskol' and the 'Dian 16'.
After the bride was seated at the wedding dais, the groom, Pg Hj Mohamed Suhaimi Pg Penggawa Laila Bentara Istiadat Diraja Dalam Istana Pg Hj Alauddin, was led into hall by Pehin Dato Paduka Awg Hj Salim , who then helped place the right hand of the groom on the head of the bride.
Pehin Dato Paduka Awg Hj Salim recited the 'Selawat' as the groom took his place next to the bride. A doa followed to bless the newly-wed couple.
The ceremony concluded with the bride and groom paying their respects to Their Majesties, HRH Pengiran Isteri Azrinaz Mazhar, HRH the Crown Prince and HRH Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah, HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah and HRH Pengiran Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Zariah and other members of the royal family as well as the parents of the bride and groom.
Also attending the bersanding were Pengiran-Pengiran Cheterias, Cabinet Ministers, Members of Councils, Deputy Ministers, Pengiran-Pengiran Peranakan, Pehin-Pehin Manteri, Manteri-Manteri Pendalaman, permanent secretaries, foreign envoys, heads of government department and senior government officials.
