A total of 26 local companies from food manufacturing, local handicraft and furniture making sectors are participating a local food and products exhibition. The exhibition will last for nine days until July 31, at the Bumiputera Commercial Centre in Bandar.
The exhibition is held in conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 60th birthday celebrations and will act as an important platform involving activities in promoting local products in the local market as well as for tourists visiting Brunei.
The event is an opportunity for local enterprises to introduce and promote their products and will also give a chance to local consumers to enjoy locally made products at attractive prices.
Aside from the local food exhibition, a special exhibition of the ten 'mukims' is currently ongoing outside the Bumiputera Commercial Centre with Brunei traditional food such as 'Kelupis' 'Lapat and Bingka on sale.
The exhibition is open to the public from 10am to 10pm.
