His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday afternoon presented state medals to 344 people, with Mr John Brian Wilkinson leading the list being the sole recipient of "The Most Distinguished Order of Paduka Seri Laila Jasa - 3rd Class".
The ceremony, held in conjunction with His Majesty's 60th birthday, was held at the Singgahsana Indera Buana of Istana Nurul Iman. Also in attendance were HRH Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, HRH Prince Abdul Azim, HRH Prince Abdul Malik and HRH Prince Abdul Mateen.
