Royalty graces walkathon to mark World Thinking Day

Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna yesterday morning joined a walkathon organised by the Girl Guides Association of Brunei Darussalam to commemorate World Thinking Day 2006. This year it carries the theme "Adolescent Health Issues Worldwide".

World Thinking Day is observed every year on February 22, marking the joint birthday of Lord and Lady Baden-Powell, the founder of the Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.

Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna is the President of the Girl Guides Association of Brunei Darussalam

Also present was the granddaughter of His Majesty, Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Raheemah Sanaul Bolkiah.

Upon her arrival, Her Royal Highness was greeted with a small choir presentation by the younger girl guides.

Her Royal Highness also participated in a 15-minute aerobics session together with other members of the association

The three-kilometre walk began and ended at the headquarters of the Girl Guides Association in Berakas.

The highlight of the event was the signing of Thinking Day 2006 poster by Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna who later viewed an exhibition. - Bornoe Bulletin (27th Feb 2006)
