Crown Prince and Senior Minister at Prime Minister’s Office visits Ministry of Defence

His Royal Highness Prince General Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, has made a working visit to the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Commander’s Secretariat at the Ministry of Defence in Bolkiah Garrison. Wednesday’s visit was the first leg of a series of working visits for 2006 by His Royal Highness to the Ministry of Defence.

Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was greeted by the Deputy Minister of Defence, Retired Colonel Pehin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd. Yasmin and the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Major General Pehin Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi, Permanent Secretaries at the Prime Minister’s Office, Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Hamid, Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Defence, Pengiran Dato Paduka Mashor, and the respective Deputy Permanent Secretaries at the Prime Minister’s Office and Ministry of Defence as well as Senior Officers of RBAF.

His Royal Highness’s itinerary began with a presentation on the structure and organization of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, delivered by the RBAF Commander. Later, His Royal Highness consented to visit the Force Capability Development Unit and Inspectorate Unit which were recently formed under the RBAF Commander Secretariat Office. His Royal Highness Prince General Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince; then consented to a group photo session with the senior officers and personnel of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces and Ministry of Defence, before signing a royal parchment in conjunction with the working visit.
