His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam made an extensive visit to the Belait District yesterday.
His Majesty arrived via helicopter at the premises of Sayyidina Ali Secondary School, where His Majesty consented to present land titles and keys to terrace houses to his subjects in the district.
His Majesty also visited several houses of the penghulus and heads of villages as well as the residence of some of the recipients.
Driving his Mercedes Benz ML 55, His Majesty went to other places such as Brunei Shell Refinery, Sungai Liang Health Centre, Lumut Post Office and the new lighthouse in Kampong Sungai Kayu Ara.
During the visit, His Majesty was accompanied by Minister of Home Affairs Pehin Dato Paduka Awg Hj Adanan, Minister of Development Pehin Dato Paduka Hj Abdullah, Acting Belait District Officer Hj Mohammad bin Hj Abd Rahman and other top government officials.
