Residents in the Belait District were thrilled with static performances and stunts put on by three military band members at the BIT Tattoo roadshow held yesterday afternoon.
The BIT Tattoo roadshow have been held in all four districts to allow members of the public to have a feel of the upcoming military Tattoo event, which is hosted by the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) in conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 60th birthday celebration.
Yesterday, the performing military bands from three different contingents included Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Singapore and Indonesia. The group was also accompanied by the Belait youth support group 'PEMBELA' and the Belait Karate Association.
The three military bands, led by Brunei's own RBAF band, Royal Brunei Police, Fire and Rescue Department and Prisons Department, paraded from Cendera Kenangan Tower, Jalan Sungai, Jalan Mckerron, Jalan Maulana and ended at Padang Bandaran Kuala Belait.
Along the roads, enthusiastic and cheering crowds watched the parade and exciting performances.
Apart from the exhilarating show, the general public also had the opportunity to visit the 'Pameran Gemilang 60' expo at Padang Bandaran.
The Tattoo show will showcase performances by military bands from Australia, China, Indonesia, Jordan, Malaysia, Oman, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Pakistan and United Kingdom, which will run on four consecutive evenings from July 29 until August 1.
